Packaging paper and board are of various kinds and depending upon product packed users have myriad choices to choose from the most optimum solution.

Choice of Packaging is mainly driven by the functional solution it provides so that it protects the contents from damage, dust, dirt, leakage, pilferage, evaporation, moisture, watering, contamination and so on. This is the most basic function a packaging is supposed to perform but it is not the only function. It also aims to provide the following:

• Preserve and protect the product
• Transport the product safely to its destination
• Makes the product attractive on shelf or increases the shelf appeal
• Acts as an advertising medium and enhances brand image
• And helps to distinguish it from “ me too” products.

Paper and paper board are excellent packaging choice owing to it’s close association with nature and natural world hence are 100% recyclable and bio degradable. The raw material is sourced from either sustainable forestry or recycled waste paper or from Agro waste such as Wheat straw and grass… all natural and bio gradable.

Packaging paper can be divided into following categories:

• Kraft paper (Brown or Bleached) or UNBLEACHED or BLEACHED Kraft paper and Board
• Carry Bag paper(Shopping bag )
• Carton board – Duplex board, Folding Box board (FBB), Solid Bleached Sulphate board (SBS) etc
• Tissue / MG Poster paper
• Absorbent Kraft (Decorative laminates)
• Core Board

Coloured board is also a multi-layered board in various colours.
Multi-layering, that is forming the carton board in several layers, provides important technical features and gives flexibility in the choice of fibres (pulp) for each layer. It gives the carton board good stiffness, creasing, folding, and gluing properties. It also assists grammage and thickness control. It is particularly important to use good quality fibre in the two outer or surface layers. This is because the fibres in these layers, or plies, experience the greatest effect of externally applied stresses, which can extend or compress them in printing, conversion (creasing/folding) and use.
Coloured board is also a multilayer board available from 70gsm to 450gsm in various colours – Plain or embossed in various designs. For example LEATHER GRAIN embossed

Coloured board is available in plain colours (12 colours) as stated above.
• It is available in gsm range of 70gsm – 450gsm
• It is available in both sheets as well as in reel.
• In Sheet It is available in A4, A3 or 850 x 910mm sheet size packed in reams or in any size per colour OR in pack of 5 colours or 10 colours as per requirement (Custom made)
LEATHER GRAIN EMBOSSED Coloured board is also available in plain colours ( 12 colours ) as above .
• It is available in gsm range of 70gsm – 450gsm
• It is available in both sheets as well as in reel.
• In Sheet It is available in A4, A3 or 850 x 910mm sheet size packed in reams or in any size per colour OR in pack of 5 colours or 10 colours as per requirement (Custom made) version.
