Resin Coated Inkjet Paper
Uncoated wood free paper is coated with various chemicals or even polymer to impart certain qualities in paper for enhancing printing quality by improving weight, surface gloss, smoothness, reduced ink absorbency and longer life. Various kinds of coating material are used such as Kaolinite (also known as china clay), calcium carbonate, bentonite together with calendaring for creating high end printing substrate for magazines and advertising materials.
Most common gsm are 80- 120gsm
Mostly available in reel( also on sheets on request)
• Resin coated Inkjet paper: Resin coated or RC Inkjet paper is commonly used for high end INKJET PHOTOGRAPHIC printing with pigment, Dye and UV based inkjet inks.
Owing to resin coating during manufacturing process this paper dries quickly and can be used in high print speed environment. Having a wide Colour gamut it offers sharp photographic images in both pigment as well as dye based inks; it can be used for both indoor display graphics and short term out door, if laminated and using pigment inks.
