PP SPUN BOND NON WOVEN FABRIC

PP SPUN BOND NON WOVEN FABRIC

PP or POLYPROPYLENE is a grade of thermo plastic resin (polymer) having characteristics of high tenacity and higher softening point (melting point) as compared to their thermoplastic resins such as LDPE or HDPE.
Spinning continuous filament fibres onto a moving belt makes spun bond non-woven fabric. The continuous fibres can come from polypropylene or polyester or even Polyethylene polymers that have been dried, melted and extruded into a flowing polymer melt.
After the spinning process the PP emerges as numerous thin, continuous filaments. These are cooled, stretched and solidified to consistent dimensions before being laid on the moving belt to form a mat of a continuous fabric.
Applications:

• Medical (face masks, gowns, bed covers etc )
• UV cured for Agricultural use
• Hydrophilic (Moisture loving)
• Pharmaceutical applications
• Facial wipes
• Personal hygiene products
• Diapers
• Cleaning wipes
• Packaging etc
